Tanto più che in questo album c’è la chiara influenza della collaborazione con Gil Rodan-Navas. E la cosa non dispiace affatto, anzi ben vengano queste esplorazioni con ventate di sonorità insolite ma belle. “El alma de la orquídea” è un ottimo album con tante sonorità, ma con un filo conduttore unico: "esplorare la musica e meravigliare con essa”. Il bel fiore si schiude e consente di ascoltare ottime integrazioni di jazz con l’elettronica, prog e c’è spazio anche per la musica contemporanea. Divertenti i riff di simil-classica in chiave elettronica. Non mancano gli sprazzi di flamenco elettronico voluti da Rodan-Navas. Piace questa nuova strada intrapresa. N. 12_2022 – PAG 2 di 10 The exploration in the alternative music with minimal electronic experiments, but with an excellent sound impact, sometimes hypnotic, becomes more and more frequent in the latest Sandro Glavina albums. Especially since in this album there is the clear influence of the collaboration with Gil Rodan-Navas. And this does not mind at all, indeed these explorations are well welcome, with unusual but beautiful sounds. "El alma de la orquídea" is an excellent album with many sounds, but with a unique thread: "explore the music and amaze with it." The beautiful flower opens up and allows you to listen to excellent integrations of jazz with electronics, prog and there is also room for contemporary music. Davide Angelini con il suo inconfondibile stile propone atmosfere ambient, rock progressive, ed ethno-music in un riuscitissimo connubio e ben calibrata intensità. L’overture si veste di trame epiche, «Indigo» è strutturalmente incentrata su di una melodia di sapore orientale (ed i fiati fanno bel gioco di contrappunto). «Jade Green» è una breve aria poetica a cui segue «Pearl River Gray» dove le note si illuminano fondendosi con il gorgogliare dell’acqua. E la fusione con i suoni naturali proseguono nel melanconico e delicato brano pianistico «Blue Marine» e nel seducente «Fuchsia» di intenso profumo «vintage». «Magenta» e «Silver» sono a nostro avviso i brani di maggior spicco in chiave prog. Davide Angelini with his unmistakable style proposes ambient atmospheres, progressive rock, and ethno-music in a very successful combination and well-balanced intensity. The overture is dressed in epic plots, "Indigo" is structurally centered on a melody with an oriental flavor (and the winds play a nice counterpoint). "Jade Green" is a short poetic aria followed by "Pearl River Gray" where the notes light up and merge with the bubbling of water. And the fusion with natural sounds continues in the melancholy and delicate piano piece «Blue Marine» and in the seductive «Fuchsia» with an intense «vintage» fragrance. In our opinion, «Magenta» and «Silver» are the most prominent songs in a prog key. Rimarrà il dubbio, ma la certezza è che a dar vita a questo progetto è stato un nutrito gruppo di artisti. Certo, Galateo ha curato le musiche, una anche in collaborazione con Glavina, ma poi ci sono i musicisti ed anche i cantanti, perché in ben cinque dei sette brani ci sono i testi e Siria Dark ne ha scritti tre (già molto tempo fa). Un tempo Siria Dark anche cantava, ma ora è solamente autrice di testi. Non aspettatevi un preciso genere musicale, in questo album si respira un po’ di tutto. I brani sono stati ascoltati dagli amici della Magix.Info Community e c’è chi ha captato aria di mistero, chi è rimasto impressionato dalle voci robotiche, chi ha apprezzato gli arrangiamenti, le atmosfere, gli effetti sonori e vocali. Non è un album concettuale, ma se lo fosse potrebbe benissimo entrare nel repertorio della Officina Sperimentale Arte Musica. Album disponibile su Jamendo (vedi link). The doubt will remain, but the certainty is that a large group of artists gave life to this project. Of course, Galateo took care of the music, one also in collaboration with Glavina, but then there are the musicians and also the singers, because in five of the seven songs there are the lyrics and Siria Dark wrote three (already a long time ago) . At one time Siria Dark also sang, but now she is only the author of lyrics. Don't expect a specific musical genre, in this album you can breathe a bit of everything. The songs were listened to by friends of the Magix.Info Community and there are those who have caught an air of mystery, those who have been impressed by the robotic voices, those who have appreciated the arrangements, the atmosphere, the sound and vocal effects. Ora la mostra si è conclusa e nel 2023 Sandro inizierà una nuova esposizione (Astrattiastrali). Di «Spatial Expresions» è stato realizzato un video per consentire di continuare a visionare le opere che sono state esposte. Il video è stato pubblicato nella Magix.Info Community (link qui sopra). In the virtual exhibition hall of Eventi MITS, the solo exhibition "Spatial Expresions" by Sandro Glavina continued from 2021, which had many visitors. N. 12_2022 – PAG 7 di 10 Gertrud Vordenbinder è una artista altoatesina. Ha adottato il nome artistico di Annalisa (ha sempre odiato il nome Gertrud). Ha mantenuto un G puntata e ha accorciato il proprio cognome in Vord. Da ragazzina in inverno sciava come una matta sulle nevi di Selva di Val Gardena, d’estate portava le mucche al pascolo con la nonna. Da adolescente ha avuto problemi di dipendenza da sostanze farmacologiche in quanto sottraeva il Serenase alla nonna, affetta da demenza. Ha trascorso due anni in comunità, dove ha iniziato ad esprimersi artisticamente. «L’arte è terapeutica, l’arte è libertà di esprimersi, l’espressione artistica è il ritrovarsi con se stessi, essere in equilibrio con se stessi è la condizione per poter donare qualcosa agli altri». Così la pensa Annalisa G. Vord che è votata all’astrattismo «purché non sia astrattismo geometrico, perché ingabbia» dice Annalisa «Le linee devono invece essere libere di incontrarsi sulla tela, creare forme libere come i profili delle bellissime montagne della mia terra natia». EJ PROT. N. 12_2022 – PAG 8 DI 10 Gertrud Vordenbinder is a South Tyrolean artist. She adopted the artistic name of Annalisa (she has always hated the name Gertrud). She kept a G with a point and shortened her surname to Vord. As a girl, in winter she skied like crazy on the snows of Selva di Val Gardena, in summer she took the cows to pasture with her grandmother. As a teenager, she had problems with drug addiction as she stole Serenase from her grandmother, who was suffering from dementia. She spent two years in the community, where she began to express herself artistically. "Art is therapeutic, art is freedom to express oneself, artistic expression is finding oneself with oneself, being in balance with oneself is the condition for being able to give something to others". So thinks Annalisa G. Vord who is devoted to abstractionism "as long as it is not geometric abstractionism, because it cages" says Annalisa "The lines must instead be free to meet on the canvas, create free forms like the profiles of the beautiful mountains of my native land ".
