Il condizionale presente si forma con l’ausiliare would per tutte le persone, + la
forma base del verbo.
USO
Si usa:
 Per esprimere un’ipotesi;
Esempio: If I were you I wouldn’t buy that car ( Se fossi in te non comprerei
quell’auto.).
 Per esprimere un desiderio, un’offerta ( ad esempio con like) o una richiesta;
Esempio: I would (‘d) like to go to Ireland on holiday. ( Vorrei andare in
vacanza in Irlanda.).
Esempio: Would you like some more cake? ( Vuole dell’altro dolce?).
Esempio: Would you help me, please? ( Mi aiuteresti, per favore?).
 Nel discorso indiretto, per esprimere l’idea di futuro nel passato.
Esempio: He said he would like to come. ( Disse che gli sarebbe piaciuto
venire.).
