N. 06_2023 – PAG 2 di 8 [email protected] Nella scorsa newsletter avevamo presentato «Cogito Ergo Sum», work in progress di Antonio Fiorillo. Stavolta ad Antonio rivolgiamo una breve intervista. Bene Antonio, si sta avvicinando il completamento dell’album “Cogito Ergo Sum”… «Sì, i brani pubblicati nella Magix.Info Community stanno avendo un buon successo. Anche le richieste di prenotazione dell’album che ho ricevuto sono molte. Però chi lo desidera può continuare a prenotare all’indirizzo mail che c’è qui sopra». Stai già lavorando con altri progetti? «Tra il 2015 e il 2020 per una serie di problemi mi assentai quasi totalmente a livello di produzione musicale. Tuttavia in quel periodo ho ideato, progettato e prodotto, pur con una tecnologia limitata, demo e materiali per altri album, ma senza mai pubblicarli perché non ero del tutto soddisfatto dei risultati. Ora però sono in grado di remixare e completare le opere inedite. In ordine di lavorazione gli album saranno “Broken”, “Vintage” e “Reflection of the past”. Spero di riuscire a rispettare i tempi programmati». Quando nella Community hai pubblicato il brano “State of Joy”, reprise della terza traccia di “Cogito Ergo Sum” in versione remix-dance, hai scritto che è un anticipo del progetto che hai in mente. Di che si tratta? «Beh…si tratta di un disco di… disco! Per la precisione sarà DISK O TECH che mi vedrà impegnato per la prima volta in un album di musica da ballare, fatta bene e con gusto. Oramai le richieste sono tante da parte di amici e proprio non posso più rimandare. Ma ne riparleremo». N. 06_2023 – PAG 4 di 8 Franco Galateo e la MITS stanno lavorando per il primo (e ultimo?) album del gruppo «parametal» Nella precedente newsletter avevamo presentato la band femminile islandese delle Eldfjallakonur. Spazio alla fantasia, stavolta tocca ai «Vedo Nero» uscire allo scoperto. Quattro elementi, tutti musicisti, senza la voce e per tale motivo per la realizzazione del loro primo album si stanno avvalendo di altri artisti. Oreste La Nebbia è il chitarrista, ma è anche autore di testi e qualcosa comparirà nell’album. Nero Dark (nome d’arte che non ha nessun legame con Siria Dark) è il bassista del gruppo e poi ci sono i fratelli Scuro: Davide (Dav detto Occhio Grigio) abile sia alla chitarra, sia alle tastiere ed Eros il batterista, pure lui autore di testi. I Vedo Nero hanno adottato come logo una vedova nera ed è quella che Eros Scuro aveva disegnata sul serbatoio della motocicletta. Motocicletta che Eros non cavalca più dopo il pauroso incidente capitatogli 4 anni fa. Il gruppo fa musica tendenzialmente heavy metal, sotto la supervisione di Franco Galateo. I Vedo Nero amano però definirsi «parametal» perché le loro musiche si tingono di più colori. Nell’album in lavorazione che ancora non ha un titolo, stanno collaborando Giovanni Del Pozzo e Aniello per la recitazione di testi scritti da Siria Dark, da Giordan Vlansa della OSAM e da altri autori che sarà interessante scoprire quando l’album verrà pubblicato. Tutto sotto l’etichetta della MITS. In the previous newsletter we introduced the Icelandic girl band Eldfjallakonur. Space for the imagination, this time it's up to «Vedo Nero» to come out into the open. Oreste La Nebbia is the guitarist, but he is also the author of lyrics and something will appear on the album. Un brano che parla in maniera ironica e surreale di un impiegato che deve subire le richieste dell’azienda, sempre più pressanti, di dedicare il suo tempo ai «doveri dell'ufficio». (Pirón “cooks” his art and serves it “on the table” with great taste.) Ramón Tolero Pirón è nato a Malaga, la città natia di Pablo Picasso. Ramón è figlio di Miguel, un cuoco trasferitosi a Siviglia, e lì aveva aperto un suo ristorantino. Ramón faceva il cameriere nel locale del padre e talvolta lo aiutava anche in cucina. Miguel aveva contratto dei grossi debiti e Ramón si mise in testa di aiutare il padre tentando di vendere i quadri che dipingeva nel proprio poco tempo libero. Per prima cosa convinse il padre ad esporre i dipinti nel ristorante, come fosse una sorta di galleria permanente. E fu un successo. Soprattutto da parte dei turisti. «Una anziana signora inglese pagò cifre importanti per alcuni miei quadri quando le illustrai la tecnica che utilizzavo». Ramón, da bravo cameriere, non utilizza i pennelli per dipingere, bensì si avvale di coltelli, forchette e cucchiai (creando effetti spatolati e graffiati sulle tavole). Un’altra caratteristica dei sui lavori è il procedimento a «patchwork» (dipinge un po’ alla volta, a pezze, perché ha poco tempo). Ramón, tra i vari materiali, fa anche uso di farina, colla di pesce e qualche altro ingrediente, soprattutto per modulare i colori. «Non racconto oltre, perché non si possono svelare tutti i segreti delle…ricette». A modo proprio Pirón «cucina» la sua arte e la serve «su tavola» con molto gusto. Possiede la sapiente creatività dello chef e la raffinata gestualità del cameriere. EJ PROT. N. 06_2023 – PAG 7 di 8 Ramón Tolero Pirón was born in Malaga, the birthplace of Pablo Picasso. Ramón is the son of Miguel, a chef who moved to Seville, and there he had opened his own restaurant. Ramón was a waiter in his father's restaurant and sometimes even helped him in the kitchen. Miguel had contracted large debts and Ramón had the idea to help his daddy by trying to sell the paintings that he painted in his little free time. First he convinced his father to exhibit the paintings in the restaurant, as if it were a sort of permanent gallery. And it was a success. Especially by tourists. «An elderly English lady paid important sums for some of my paintings when I showed her the technique I used». Ramón, like a good waiter, does not use brushes to paint, but uses knives, forks and spoons (creating spatula and scratched effects on the canvas). Another characteristic of his works is the «patchwork» process (he paints a little at a time, in pieces, because he has little time). Ramón, among the various materials, also makes use of flour, isinglass and some other ingredients, above all to modulate the colours. «I won't tell any further, because you can't reveal all the secrets of the…recipes». In his own way Pirón “cooks” his art and serves it “on the table” with great taste. He possesses the wise creativity of the chef and the refined gestures of the waiter. EJ PROT.
