Ora è la volta di «The land of Wales» di Franco Galateo & Jochen-S. Insomma, gira e rigira (il disco sul piatto) sempre lo stesso duo è. Jochen-S va in auge con la sua chitarra sostanzialmente blues-rock, toccando anche universi floydiani e passando attraverso tessuti country. Il Galateo ci dà dentro di brutto con le sue costruzioni di soundpool made by Magix. Tanta bella musica, ma non bisogna farsi ingannare dal titolo dell’album perché di musica tradizionale gallese proprio non ce n’è! Galateo gives us a good work with its soundpool constructions made by Magix. Lots of great music, but don't be fooled by the title of the album because there really isn't any traditional Welsh music! But it doesn't matter, it's nice music to listen to on Mits Vari channel of Jamendo. E’ un album interamente strumentale che ripropone le arie utilizzate nell’opera «Psico a Nalisi» dell’Officina Sperimentale Arte Musica (ancora ascoltabile al Mitsmagica Theater in quanto online dal giugno dello scorso anno). Jazz e ambient si incontrano in questo album anche attraverso «sentieri» progressivi. Inutile stare troppo a descrivere… Quando si parla di Frasan Galaglav è un «marchio affidabile» che in fatto di realizzazioni produce roba originalissima. Direi che è veramente riduttivo dover ascoltare l’album «a puntate» nella Magix.Info Community. La Mits lo ha pubblicato per intero dal momento che su Jamendo esiste un spazio Mits di Frasan Galaglav. N. 07_2022 – PAG 3 di 9 Nelle «note di copertina» si legge che l’album-studio è stato realizzato dal 26 al 30 Novembre 2021 durante i lavori di abbattimento e sostituzione dei tubi idrici e termici connessi alla caldaia di nuova installazione e successiva ristrutturazione degli ambienti (della «casa discografica»). Così Sandro Glavina, rinunciando temporaneamente a collaborazioni, ha lavorato da solo (mentre gli operai lavoravano) con una strumentazione molto datata, ma l’unica disponibile in quel momento (esecuzioni delle parti delle tastiere VST (MM 2004 Deluxe) Work station: HP Pavilion -2007). L’album è ora online, pubblicato su Reverbnation. 14 brani «leggeri», gradevoli, adatti in ogni …situazione. N. 07_2022 – PAG 4 di 9 Nell’intervista comparsa nella newsletter 5/2022, Antonio Fiorillo non ci aveva raccontato di questo lavoro di rimasterizzazione. Pertanto è una graditissima sorpresa poter ora apprezzare i brani di «A Curious Opera» a quaranta anni di distanza dalla sua prima realizzazione. Musica orchestrale, medievale, rinascimentale, interamente eseguita da Antonio Fiorillo con la cura e l’attenzione con cui Antonio si è sempre impegnato nella creazione dei propri lavori. I brani dell’album sono pubblicati nei file multimediali di Antonio (link qui a fianco) nella Magix.Info Community, riconoscibili dalla copertina dell’album.
