HISTORY
We are at Elsinore in Denmark.
The ghost of the dead king, killed by his brother Claudius who
then usurped the throne and married his wife, Gertrude, Hamlet
appears to his son and asks to be avenged. Hamlet is caught by
a thousand doubts and thinks it is easier to find out the truth by
being crazy to believe.

The king, Claudius, decides to send Hamlet to England with two
friends, ordering them to kill him on arrival. Hamlet discovers the
truth on the ship and comes back.

from grief over the death of her father and Hamlet’s rejection of

Claudio organizes a duel between the two, and tries a ploy to kill
Hamlet. He puts some poison in a cup of wine which will be
drunk in error by Hamlet's mother, Gertrude, who will die .

Claudio organizza un duello tra i due, e cerca uno stratagemma per
uccidere Amleto. Mette del veleno in una coppa di vino che però sarà

Laertes will use a sword with the poisoned tip and greater security
will be offered to Hamlet a goblet containing poison. But things do
not develop as expected. The Queen Gertrude drinks the
poisoned cup by accident and dies., For a change of Laertes
swords is hurt by the poisoned sword, but before he died
confessed the deception to Hamlet. Hamlet is mortally wounded,
but before dying manages to kill King Claudius and to leave his
kingdom to Fortinbras, Prince of Norway.
