L'attività didattica e scientifica del Prof. Anna Oneto è attualmente rivolta ai seguenti settori:
 Geometria Algebrica - Teoria dei Codici;
Ricerca scientifica: nel campo della Geometria Algebrica.
In particolare:
- Studio di morfismi di curve di Gorenstein e estensione del Teorema di Hurwitz a curve con singolarita'.
- Relazioni tra ideali che descrivono il tipo di singolarita' di una curva.
- Modulo dei differenziali e fascio dualizzante per una varieta' algebrica Cohen Macaulay.
- Nash Blowing-up di varieta' algebriche.
-Varieta' dei moduli: studio dei moduli di rango 1 su una curva singolare.
-Semigruppo delle valutazioni di un ramo analitico singolare di curva.
- Teoria dei codici dalla Geometria Algebrica e in particolare Order bound per i codici di Goppa.
- Matrici e loro applicazioni in teoria dei controlli

 Algebric Geometry - Code Theory;
Scientific Research in Algebric Geometry.
In particular:
- Morphisms of Gorenstein curves and extension of Hurwitz Theorem to singular curves.
- Relations between ideals which describe the singularity kind of a curve.
- Module of differentials and dualizing sheaf for an algebraic Cohen Macaulay variety.
- Nash Blowing-up of algebraic varieties.
- Variety of modules: study of modules of rank 1 on a singular curve.
- Semigroup of valutations of a singular analytic branch of a curve.
- Code theory of Algebric Geometry; in particular Order bound for Goppa codes.
- Matrices e their use in control theory
