Ohne den Traum oder die Vision, ein flexibles Systemmöbel mit neuartigen
Verbindungen realisieren und verkaufen zu können, gäbe es Xilobis nicht. Dieser
Glaube an eine Lösung und der nötige Durchhaltewille prägen bis heute das
Gedankengut der Firma. Denn Xilobis verkörpert die mehrjährige, hartnäckige
Entwicklung eines neuartigen Möbelsystems, welches sich durch seine flexiblen
Verbindungen klar vom allgemeinen Umfeld abgrenzt. Von der ansteckenden
Grundidee im Jahr 2003 bis zum ausgereiften Prototyp, der effizient in einer
serienmässigen Handhabung produziert werden konnte, ist viel Zeit vergangen und
manche finanzielle Entbehrung musste in Kauf genommen werden. Viele Versuche
waren notwendig, bis die richtigen Materialien so präzis verarbeitet werden konnten,
dass sich die ganze Flexibilität des Möbels auf dem durchdachten Zusammenspiel
von Kugel, Seil, Holz und präzisen Bohrungen abstützen konnte und die gewünschte
Stabilität sichergestellt war. Das über die Jahre perfektionierte Produkt hat einen
durchsetzbaren Patentschutz und erfreut sich trotz knappen Werbemitteln einer
wachsenden, überaus loyalen und zufriedenen Kundschaft. 2012 wurde die neuartige
Verbindungsmethode am Prix Lignum ausgezeichnet. Der Traum ist Realität

with innovative bindings Xilobis would not exist. This belief in a solution and the

embodies several years of persistent development of a new type of furniture system
whose flexible connections clearly set it apart from the rest of the field. From the
creation of the idea in 2003 to a mature prototype that could be produced efficiently
on a production line, much time has passed and some financial hardship had to be
suffered. Many attempts were needed before the right materials could be processed
so precisely that the full flexibility of the furniture could be supported by the
sophisticated interplay of ball, cable, wood and precisely milled cavities and the
desired stability was ensured. The product, which has been perfected over a number
of years, is protected by patent and despite scarce advertising has a growing,
extremely loyal and satisfied customer base. In 2012, the new binding method was
awarded the Lignum Prize. The dream has become a reality - or are you still using

Senza il sogno o la visione di voler creare un sistema di arredi flessibile realizzato con
nuove tecniche di fissaggio e di riuscire a commercializzarlo, Xilobis non esisterebbe.
La certezza di aver trovato una soluzione e la necessaria perseveranza per realizzarla
ne caratterizzano tuttora la linea di pensiero. Dopo anni di tenace sviluppo del
innovativo mobile modulare, il sistema Xilobis si distingue nettamente da altri
prodotti nel campo. Dall’accattivante idea nell’anno 2003 al prototipo pronto per
poter esser prodotto con efficenza in serie, molto tempo é passato e qualche
riastrettezza di mezzi ha dovuto esser presa a carico. Son state necessarie molte prove
per trovare i materiali che permettessero una lavorazione talmente precisa da
assicurare la stabilità e la flessibilità richiesta ad un mobile basato sul sofisticato
interagire di cavi, sfere, legno e fresature. Il prodotto così perfezionato per anni, é ora
protetto da brevetto e riscontra una crescente e fedele clientela malgrado la sinora
modesta pubblicità. Il mobile con l’innovativo sistema di collegamento é stato
rinonosciuto con il Prix Lignum 2012. Il sogno é diventato realtà – o state ancora
avvitando?
