Proprio così perché il titolo dell’album significa appunto «Colazione elettronica». Una colazione offerta da Sandro Glavina e Nora Neumen che dura tre quarti d’ora, da gustare in tutte le sue sonorità che si avvicinano molto alle scuole di musica d’avanguardia degli anni 60 e primi anni 70. Gli intrecci musicali sono quasi privi di elementi percussivi. Tutto è giocato su interazioni di matrici sonore prodotte da più sintetizzatori, sul mixaggio, sugli effetti in un contesto prevalentemente atonale. Talvolta l’espressione sonora è minimale, a tratti le strutture sono complesse. Siamo in un contesto cosmico, spaziale, ambient e nel brano di chiusura «Notrajni» ci sono anche delle note al piano di sapore jazz. La colazione la si può assaporare al Laboratorio di Ricerca Sonora Elettronica Contemporanea (canale ASIOSTRIX di Jamendo). A breakfast offered by Sandro Glavina and Nora Neumen that lasts three quarters of an hour, to be enjoyed in all its sounds that are very close to the avant-garde music schools of the 60s and early 70s. The musical plots are almost devoid of percussive elements. Everything is played on interactions of sound matrices produced by several synthesizers, on mixing, on effects in a predominantly atonal context. Sometimes the sound expression is minimal, sometimes the structures are complex. We are in a cosmic, spatial, ambient context and in the closing piece «Notrajni» there are also some notes on the piano with a jazz flavor. N. 04_2022 – PAG 2 di 9 Il primo arcano da svelare è l’acronimo GLAGAL che, oltre a contenere le sillabe di «Galaglav», con le singole lettere identifica gli altri artisti presenti nell’album: G per Gil (Rodan-Navas), L per Lunar (Lunarman) A per Aka (Saiko). Ma «The Glagal» potrebbe anche essere la nuova futura denominazione «sfoltita» del duo giunto al decimo anno di attività. Questo album è una compilation che in un certo senso mancava. Un progetto che raccoglie tutti i brani presentati dai Frasan Galalglav nelle varie edizioni del Festival di Musica Spaziale della MITS a cui hanno partecipato. I primi quattro brani dell’album provengono anch’essi da varie edizioni del Festival, ma sono degli altri artisti menzionati. Come mai? Questo è il secondo arcano da svelare. Sono tutti artisti della MITS molto amici dei FG. Se guardate la copertina dell’album noterete che non c’è il logo della MITS. No, perché (terzo arcano) essendo l’album la torta di compleanno dei FG, se la sono preparati da soli. N. 04_2022 – PAG 4 di 9 Terminata la pubblicazione nella Magix.Info Community del brani di «Debito Nucleare», ecco un nuovo album di Franco Galateo. «Il Regno di Holly» è un lavoro del 2019 che la MITS diffonde ora. Musica in stile ambient elettronico, ma soprattutto…musica a programma. La musica a programma è un tipo di composizione musicale che consiste nel descrivere o nel narrare una storia con mezzi puramente musicali. Attraverso i 13 brani, si sviluppa la narrazione che Franco Galateo esplicita anche in prosa con la presentazione del primo brano dell’album. Holly, intraprendendo un viaggio interplanetario molto avventuroso, riesce a ritrovare la sorella Emy rapita molti anni prima. Emy diverrà la regina del pianeta di origine dopo avervi fatto ritorno per sconfiggere le forze del male. Un album sicuramente da seguire. After the publication in the Magix.Info Community of the tracks of «Debito Nucleare», here is a new album by Franco Galateo. “Il Regno di Holly" is a 2019 work that MITS is now releasing. Through the 13 songs, the narration develops that Franco Galateo also explains in prose with the presentation of the first song of the album. Per essere precisi Markus non è un ex nella Magix.Info Community perché risulta ancora presente con 5 brani anche se l’ultimo lo ha pubblicato nel marzo del 2014. Markus però fa parte delle «vecchia guardia» della Community, operativo da prima della «riforma» del 2008. Rovistando nei cassetti del web non abbiamo troppo faticato a trovare un sito dove ci sono ben 6 album con 8-9 brani per ciascuno. A parte il primo brano dell’album «Calm up» che non funziona, tutto il resto della musica di Markus la si può ascoltare liberamente e la si può scaricare (formato WMA). Dunque è una buona occasione per apprezzare ancora i lavori Markus Legner e per chi non ha avuto modo di conoscere i suoi genuini prodotti musicali, possiamo anticipare che prevalgono sempre atmosfere molto intriganti, chill-out con tante contaminazioni di etno-music. http://www.legnermark.us/ind ex_file/2_music.htm EJ PROT. Markus is part of the "old guard" of the Community, operating since before the « reform »of 2008. Rummaging in the drawers of the web we didn't struggle too much to find a site where there are 6 albums with 8-9 songs for each. Apart from the first song on the album "Calm up" that doesn't work, all the rest of Markus's music can be listened to freely and downloaded (WMA format). So it is a good opportunity to still appreciate Markus Legner's works and for those who have not had the opportunity to know his genuine musical products, we can anticipate that very intriguing atmospheres always prevail, chill-out with many contaminations of ethno music. Mi capita spesso di citare Roby Tav nel fare riferimento alla «vecchia guardia» della Community di Magix. Proprio di recente qualcuno mi ha chiesto «Ma chi è?». Avrei potuto invitarlo a cercare da sé, perché è un buon metodo di auto-apprendimento che funziona in andragogia. Però avrei perso l’occasione di raccontare quello non è scritto nelle brevi note curricolari che si possono trovare online in quanto non riportano il fattoto che Roby Tav è stato tra i massimi (rari) artefici del rock progressivo della Community. Dico «è stato» perché dal 2017 Roby pur avendo ancora un profilo nella Magix, non accede più. Per fortuna ci sono ancora 8 brani tratti da vari album, frutto della collaborazione con Tiziana Radis. Allora inviterei tutti ad ascoltarli. Poi, in giro, si legge che Roby Tav è musicista compositore e tastierista presso: «Secret Tales»- «TRRT»- «La Stanza Delle Maschere»- «Nocturnal Steps». Quindi ha fatto concerti live, dischi, un sacco di cose. Cercate un po’ in giro, usate il motore di ricerca (troverete Roby Tav su FB, Instagram YouTube, siti specifici di musica …). Insomma, se Roby fosse calciatore, giocherebbe in categorie di un certo livello. A noi però manca molto qui al «polveroso campetto» della Magix.Info Community. Un breve racconto a fumetti del 2012 ambientato nei giorni nostri – ora è disponibile online Nel 2012 era già stato tutto previsto riguardo il ritrovamento del Codice Voskajesk e le conseguenze che si sarebbero venute a creare. Naturalmente stiamo parlando di un corto-fumetto che venne abbinato alla pubblicazione dell’album «MITS» dei Frasan Galaglav, album che per l’appunto conteneva il brano «Il Codice Voskajesk». A dieci anni di distanza dalla realizzazione, la storiella a fumetti è ora disponibile online in ben quattro lingue: Inglese, Italiano, Tedesco, Sloveno. Con questa iniziativa non musicale della MITS si festeggiano i 10 anni di attività del duo Frasan Galaglav, formatosi nel primo quadrimestre del 2012 ed il primo album fu «Acido Alcalino Basico». Da allora sono stati prodotti 45 album dall’instancabile duo sempre capace di trovare originali idee e concretizzare validi progetti.
