2014–(Now) PhD in Statistical Physics, SISSA, Trieste, Supervisor : Pasquale Calabrese.
2013–2014 Internship, Université Aix-Marseille, Marseille, Supervisor : Carlo Rovelli.
I spent almost a year in Marseille (November 2013–September 2014), where I worked for
my master’s thesis on Loop Quantum Gravity.
2013 Summer Student Programme, FERMILAB, Chicago, Supervisor : Patrick Lukens.
I worked two months (August–September 2013) for the CDF group on the attempt to
estimate the photon conversion efficiency of the CDF detector.
2012 Summer Student Programme, DESY, Hamburg, Supervisors: Judith Katzy &
Karl-Johan Grahn.
I spent two months (August–September 2012) working with the ATLAS group on a new
variable (JVF) the experiment would like to implement to detect b-jets.

PhD Thesis
Title Entanglement measures in extended quantum systems.
Supervisor Pasquale Calabrese
Description The main subject is the study of entanglement and how to measure it in extended
quantum systems (examples of entanglement measures are the entanglement entropy,
the Rényi entropies and the logarithmic negativity), mainly within a field theoretical
approach (in particular 1+1 CFT).
Master’s Thesis
Title Thermally correlated states in Loop Quantum Gravity
Supervisor Carlo Rovelli
Description I investigated the properties of a particular class of states in Loop Quantum Gravity,
satisfying an analog of the Bisognano-Wichmann theorem. They turn out to have
admit a semiclassical interpretation, being peaked on a given classical intrinsic
geometry.

Description My work focused on the properties of extended quantum systems (in particular the
implementation of symmetries and simmetry breaking), within an algebraic approach
