Applicazioni
I filtri sono dimensionati per ridurre il THD (Total Harmonic
Distortion) in presenza di raddrizzatori B12. Le correnti
armoniche vengono soppresse al punto tale da portare il
THD ad un valore inferiore al 5% (ad es. nei sistemi UPS).
Anwendungen
Das Filter ist für die Reduzierung des THD (Total
Harmonic Distortion) bei B12-Gleichrichtern dimensioniert.
Die Ober-wellenströme werden so stark unterdrückt, so
dass ein THD von kleiner als 5% erreicht wird (z.B. in
USV-Anlagen).
Applications
The filter is designed for the reduction of the THD (Total
Har-monic Distortion) when used with B12 rectifiers. The
harmonic currents are extremely suppressed so that the
THD is reduced to lower than 5 % (for example in UPSsystems).

Tipici valori di THD nei raddrizzatori B12 e utilizzo di trasformatori, sono tra il 12% e il 13%. Ciò è conforme alle
norme EN 61000-3-4 e EN 61000-3-12. Qualora siano richieste condizioni più restrittive per la rete, allora accanto
all’utilizzo del trasformatore è utile l’impiego di un filtro elettrico per armoniche come i filtri della serie CNW 897.
Questi filtri sono disponibili nelle versioni THD < 5% e THD < 10%.

Die typischen Werte der Total Harmonic Distortion bei B12-Gleichrichtern und Verwendung von Transformatoren
liegen zwischen 12 und 13%. Das entspricht den Normen EN 61000-3-4 und EN 61000-3-12. Sind schärfere
Bedingungen für das Netz definiert, müssen zusätzlich zum Transformator REO-Harmonic-Filter vom Typ CNW
897 eingesetzt werden. Diese sind in zwei Varianten erhältlich: THD < 5% und THD < 10 %.

Typical values of Total Harmonic Distortion with B12 rectifiers and use of transformers are between 12 and 13%.
This complies with the EN 61000-3-4 and EN 61000-3-12 standards. If more severe conditions for the mains are
defined, in addition to the transformer it is necessary to use REO-Harmonic-Filter type CNW 897. These filters are
available in two different versions: THD < 5% and THD < 10 %.
