Translate into English the following sentences:

In italiano un verbo può reggere l’infinito in diversi modi. Il modo più comune è con la
particella “di”: “ho deciso di andare a scuola oggi”. L’infinito può essere anche retto
direttamente: “mi piace andare al mare”.
Nel tradurre questa struttura in inglese è importante innanzitutto sapere (o verificare sul
dizionario) se il verbo regge il gerundio (I enjoy fishing) o l’infinito (I decided to buy a car),
o tutti e due, (I like going to France, I like to go to France). In secondo luogo, se vogliono
una preposizione (I was thinking OF buying a car, I was planning ON going surfing).
