Assistenza: gli artisti saranno assistiti e accompagnati da un tutor per tutto il periodo di residenza
Tracce maestre / Road Art/Movie è un progetto di residenza che, a partire dal patrimonio storico e culturale legato
alle esperienze di grandi maestri (F. Rosi, P. P. Pasolini, G. Tornatore, Mel Gibson) del cinema nazionale e
internazionale che hanno scelto la Basilicata come set cinematografico, ha come fine la realizzazione di un documento
audiovisivo innovativo sul piano tecnico e narrativo (video arte, fiction, animazione, ecc.) e una mappatura di tracce
artistiche (street e land art, ecc.) nelle località di interesse del progetto.
La residenza artistica deve garantire un altissimo coinvolgimento della comunità ospitante in termini di interazione nella
realizzazione delle opere affinché le stesse abbiano un elevato livello di fruizione da parte del pubblico e siano durature
nel tempo (opere possibilmente permanenti).
Il Tema è legato allo spirito di 4 film girati in Basilicata che hanno contribuito alla creazione di un paesaggio immaginario
della Lucania

Il profilo richiesto degli artisti? Poliedrici e flessibili
I candidati avranno la possibilità di scegliere uno o più film (oppure tutti) al fine di una loro ri-lettura e ri-generazione e
possibilmente di un ri-adattamento in chiave contemporanea; avranno a disposizione un budget di produzione;
dovranno proporre idee per la realizzazione di opere pubbliche (audiovisivi, sculture, installazioni, street art ,..,)
altamente innovative e interdisciplinari.
Le idee proposte dai candidati saranno scelte sulla base dei seguenti criteri:
• per la capacità delle future opere di essere interdisciplinari (es. artigianato e nuove tecnologie, social Games e
architettura, energie rinnovabili e cinema, ecc.. )
• per la capacità delle future opere di essere fruite da un target trasversale (bambini, terza età, diversamente
abili…)
• per originalità estetica, creativa e per il forte impatto visivo e sociale
• per l'alto coinvolgimento di artisti, studenti, maker locali
• per la capillarità e diffusione delle future opere sul territorio lucano (location dei film, ecc…)

Research on site/Accommodation/insurance/ travel cost: at the expense of the Organization
Maestro traces – Road Art/Movie is a project that considering the historical and cultural heritage of great masters
(such as F. Rosi, P.P. Pasolini, G. Tornatore, mel Gibson) of national and international cinema world that chose Basilicata
as a cinematographic set, is aimed to the production of an innovative audiovisual output.
The innovative aspect required may be referred on a technical level or on the narrative level. It is possible to realize a
documentary, a shortmovie ,a feature movie, animation movie, or other
The film realized has to record all artistic traces of the places interested by the project.
Regarding the requirements of the work, the artist residency has to guarantee a very high involvement of the hosting
community in terms of interacting in the process of filmmaking, in order to have a high- level of audience enjoyment. It is
also expected that the work realized has to be enduring.
The core topic is tied to the spirit of the 4 film made in Basilicata that contributed to the creation of an imaginary
landscape of Lucania.

What is the profile required? Polyhedral and being flexible
Candidates have the possibility to choose one or more film indicated (even all of them) with a striving attitude for a rereading, re- adapting – re – generating in a contemporary key the film selected;
Artists have at their disposal a production budget; they have to propose ideas for the realization of a public work highly
innovative and intersisciplinary in the following field audiovisual, sculpture, installations, street art.
For works able of being interdisciplinary (e.g. art – craft and new technology, Social Games and architecture, Renewable
energy and cinema, etc..)
For works able to be enjoyed by a transversal target (by children, elderly people, disabled people)
For aesthetic originality, creative and strong and visual impact and social
For the high involvement of artists, students and local makers;
For the capillarity and diffusion of works in Basilicata (film locations, etc ...)
