For some time, Professor Alaving has been eager to experiment on himself the effects of SMOL, a quadrant with psycho-cosmic energy that allows you to modify the material you are made of. . Naturalmente il professore viene trasferito in una riserva naturale dove l’acqua è l’elemento predominante. Il professor Alaving veste una speciale tuta in grado di mantenere la forma del suo corpo anche se è interamente liquida. La maga e il professore attraversano la MEMBRANA DEL MULINO IGNOTO che confina con la grotta. Entra e con molta sorpresa vede una creatura umana con il corpo di donna e il volto liquefatto. Professor Alaving hears a call from an aquatic cave. He enters and with much surprise sees a human creature with a woman's body and a liquefied face. Per aggirare il muro i viandanti devono compiere un percorso molto complesso. Alla fine riescono a trovare la scalinata che è parallela ad un torrente. Senza indugiare salgono i gradini. To get around the wall, travelers have to follow a very complex route. Eventually they manage to find the stairway parallel to a stream. Without delay they climb the steps. In una cella del muro appare il volto rarefatto della SIBILLA Andaleor. «Dovrai salire una gradinata ed entrare nell’albero cavo. La maga ti guiderà». Beyond the membrane there is a frozen liquid wall. In a cell of the wall appears the rarefied talking face of the SIBYL Andaleor. “You will have to climb a flight of steps and enter the hollow tree. The sorceress will guide you”. Passata la cavità dell’albero, il professor Alaving è risucchiato da un forte vortice ipnotizzante che lo riporta nel suo mondo reale, nel suo corpo reale. Durante questo trasferimento il professore riesce a darsi delle risposte riguardo alcune ipotesi scientifiche che si era posto tempo prima. After passing the hollow of the tree, Professor Alaving is sucked into a strong hypnotic vortex that brings him back to his real world, in his real body. During this transfer the professor manages to give himself some answers regarding some scientific hypotheses that he had posed some time before. L’unico modo per entrare nel pozzo è passare dalla cavità di un albero che è posto al centro della torretta. La maga invita il professore ad entrare e lo saluta perché il suo compito di guidarlo è terminato. At the end of the stairs Professor Alaving and the sorceress arrive at the top of a turret which is actually a vast covered well. The only way to enter the well is to pass through the hollow of a tree that is located in the center of the turret. The sorceress invites the professor to enter and greets him because her task of guiding him is finished.
