Once again, three young workers pay the price for the lack of safety at work: Luca Rossi aged 32, Carlo Alberti aged 27 and Luigi Scalzi aged 41. Luca had only been working at the company for a few months. "He was very happy with his new job" declared Laura, Luca's girlfriend, "we should have got married in June" she tells us in tears, her face shocked by grief. Carlo, grandson of the owner of the company - currently in a state of custody by the authorities for investigations on alleged non-compliance with the safety protocol - is the youngest victim of this immense tragedy. The family did not want to make any comments on the incident. His colleagues speak of a dynamic boy who is always ready to help his teammates. Luigi, on the other hand, was a veteran of the company, where he had already worked for 12 years. Luigi leaves his wife Loredana and two children: 6-year-old Antonio and 2 and a half-yearold Michele. A tragedy that shocked the entire community of the Piedmontese town. The dynamics of the terrible accident have yet to be clarified, but from a first reconstruction it would seem the scaffolding on which the three unfortunates were working did not withstand the weight and stresses during maintenance on the facade of the building. "I heard a roar and excruciating screams and I looked out", says Silvia, who lives near the scene of the accident. “Initially I thought about a car accident”, says Flavio, owner of the bar located a few steps from the tragedy where the boys had had coffee just a few hours earlier. Carlo, nipote del titolare dell’azienda, attualmente in stato di fermo da parte delle autorità per accertamenti su presunte inosservanze del protocollo di sicurezza, è la più giovane vittima di questa immensa tragedia. La famiglia non ha voluto rilasciare alcun commento sull’accaduto. I suoi colleghi parlano di un ragazzo dinamico e sempre pronto ad aiutare i compagni. Luigi, invece, che lavorava da 12 anni in azienda, lascia la moglie Loredana e due figli: Antonio di 6 anni e Michele di 2 anni e mezzo. Una tragedia che ha sconvolto l’intera comunità della cittadina piemontese. Ancora da chiarire la dinamica del terribile incidente ma da una prima ricostruzione sembrerebbe che l’impalcatura sulla quale stavano lavorando i tre malcapitati non abbia retto al peso e alle sollecitazioni durante l’intervento di manutenzione sulla facciata dell’edificio. “Ho sentito un boato e delle urla strazianti e mi sono affacciata” ci racconta Silvia, che abita vicino al luogo dell’incidente. “Inizialmente ho pensato ad un incidente stradale” ci racconta Flavio, proprietario del bar situato a pochi passi dalla tragedia dove appena poche ore prima i ragazzi avevano preso il caffè.
