grande maestro futurista. In particolare è
esposto in prima assoluta un dipinto eccezionale, scomparso e poi ritrovato dopo 90
anni, “Lumière+vitesse+bruit”, del 1913, una tela che
mostra il punto di arrivo della riflessione di Severini attorno al

NEL TRICLINIO DI TIBERIO, una mostra a Sperlonga per ricostruire idealmente un triclinio romano, sulla base di quanto
riportato dalle fonti antiche. A fare da sfondo, i luoghi che

e inaugurato nel 1889
presso la cinquecentesca villa di papa Giulio
III lungo la via Flaminia, come sezione del
Museo Nazionale
Romano destinata alle
antichità extraurbane,
ospitò ben presto i rinvenimenti di Falerii
Veteres e delle civiltà
preromane a nord di Roma. Successive e continue, nei decenni seguenti, le aggiunte al nucleo iniziale falisco, provenienti
da scavi nel Lazio e nell'Umbria etrusca, ma anche da collezioni private [Barberini e Castellani]. Il percorso del museo si
sviluppa attualmente su due piani della villa e prevede, in linea
di massima, le sezioni topografiche di Vulci, Bisenzio, Caere e
Veio al primo piano; le collezioni Barberini, Castellani e quella
seicentesca del museo Kircheriano al piano terra, per finire di
nuovo al primo piano con le sezioni dedicate a Pyrgi e all' Agro
Falisco. Enorme la quantità di pezzi famosissimi e di eccezionale qualità esposti nel museo.

➔ ETRUSCAN MUSEUM OF VILLA GIULIA. Founded and
opened in 1998 at Pope Julius III's 16th century villa on Via
Flaminia as a section of the National Roman Museum for antiquities from outside the city, it soon housed the relics of Falerii Veteres and the pre-Roman civilizations north of Rome.
Later, throughout the decades that followed, there were additions to the original nucleus from excavations Etruscan Lazio
and Umbria as well as from private collections [Barberini and
Castellani]. The museum covers two floors of the villa and
contains sections on Vulci, Bisenzio, Caere and Veio on the
first floor. The Barberini, Castellani and 17th century Kircherian collections on the ground floor and, on the second floor,
sections dedicated to Pyrgi and the Agro Falisco. A large
