COURSE AIMS
– To provide a brief outline of the history of aesthetics, so that the main
categories of the subject come to the fore (art, beauty, imagination, gusto).
– To introduce students to aesthetic research by reading a key work on the history
of the subject.
COURSE CONTENT
1. Aspects of the history of aesthetics.
2. Art and “aura” according to Walter Benjamin.
