Il centro direzionale West End recentemente
edificato nella parte occidentale di Belgrado, la
capitale della Serbia, è un complesso costituito
da due palazzi di cinque piani, con una
superficie complessiva di 12.500 m2 ciascuno,
garage e parcheggio per 150 posti auto.
Questo nuovo complesso di uffici si presenta
con un interessante design colorato, una
vetrata continua e una facciata curvilinea che
lo rendono un luogo di lavoro piacevole e
funzionale. Gli spazi interni sono stati concepiti
come open-space Per questo sono stati allestiti
spazi neutri e completamente attrezzati con gli
impianti di alta e bassa tensione, ed è stata
curata l’illuminazione generale degli uffici e
dei piani rialzati.

i designer, insieme al centro illuminotecnico
BUCK, hanno puntato su un’immagine di
prestigio, enfatizzando i due blocchi. Grande
attenzione è stata posta anche sulla
prevenzione dell’inquinamento luminoso e e sul
rispetto dell’ambiente. Il team ha scelto di
evidenziare la sagoma e le linee curve dei due
palazzi. L’effetto è stato ottenuto illuminando
la parte inferiore dei tetti galleggianti, sia
quello piano del primo palazzo che quello
curvilineo del secondo, utilizzando proiettori
Rodio (Disano) asimmetrici. Le diverse superfici
delle pareti vicino all’entrata e quelle delle
altre pareti sono illuminate con apparecchi
Brallo (Disano), mentre il passaggio che porta
all’entrata dei palazzi è illuminato con
l’elegante Lanterna 1 (Disano).

Per quanto riguarda il progetto illuminotecnico
in particolare, i progettisti hanno preferito una
luce neutra e la scelta è caduta su apparecchi
da incasso Shell e Office 3 (Fosnova) con
lampade fluorescenti, per gli spazi adibiti agli
uffici. Per le zone di passaggio e di servizio
sono state utilizzati apparecchi Rigo per
ottenere un effettosemplice e funzionale.
Di giorno, la visibilità del complesso è data
dalla facciata in vetro e dai colori che la
caratterizzano, mentre di notte il sistema
illuminotecnico degli esterni è stata progettato
da un’équipe di lighting designer.
L’illuminazione decorativa di questo progetto è
particolarmente interessante: il committente e
West End is the new office business center
opened in the west part of Belgrade, capital of
Serbia. It consists of two 5-floor buildings,
12,500sqm each, garage and open parking for
150 cars.
This new office building has an interesting,
colorful design with glass façades and a curved
front, making it a pleasant and attractive place
for business. The concept of the space is to be
open and easily adaptable for any future
rentals. All this required neutral and fully
equipped rental space with provided
infrastructure, such as high and low voltage
installations, general illumination for office
space, and elevated floors.
When the illumination is in question, the
designers opted for neutral indoor lighting, so
the choice fell upon compact fluorescent Shell
and Office 3 (Fosnova) for the office space. The
communication and facility rooms have Rigo
fixtures for a simple, yet functional lighting
design.
During the day, the visibility of the complex is
accomplished by the glass façade and the colors
on it, while during the night- time, it was the
task of the design team to maintain the
visibility of the exteriors. The decorative
lighting of this project was particularly

interesting: the investor and the design team,
together with BUCK’s Lighting Design Center,
wanted to create a sense of exclusivity and
emphasize the building, while taking care to
avoid ligh pollution and protect the
surroundings. The team chose to outline the
contours and curves of the buildings. This was
done by illuminating the bottom side of the
floating roofs, both the flat one on one
building and the wavy one on the other
building, with asymmetric Rodio (Disano).
There are several wall surfaces by the
entrance, and some other surfaces on every
wall, which are illuminated from the top using
Cesio (Disano) fixtures with blue light narrow
beam. Most of the parking and walking area
was illuminated with Brallo (Disano), and the
entering passage to the buildings has the
elegant urban light Lanterna 1 (Disano).
