DJ-PRO is the AXEL TECHNOLOGY solution for the automated
radio broadcasting, ideal either for local radio stations or for
the Networks. More than 400 broadcasters (local, national and also
governative, either in Italy or abroad) enjoy DJ-PRO.
DJ-PRO è il sistema di automazione dell’emittente radiofonica
sviluppato da AXEL TECHNOLOGY, ideale sia per la radio locale
che per il Network e scelto ed installato in più di 400 emittenti tra locali,
nazionali o di Stato – sia in Italia che all’estero.
Aimed to the heart of the radio, DJ-PRO provides a simple
and powerful architecture which always preserve the emission
from any interruption. DJ-PRO system is fully configurable according
to the technical-productive environment and to the customers’
needs: number of workstations, scope of every station (on air,
recording, scheduling, etc), audio format, network architecture and
security, redundancy, server type, etc.
Cuore della radio, DJ-PRO ha una struttura semplice e potente
per garantire la massima affidabilità della messa in onda. Punto
di forza è la completa configurabilità in base alle esigenze del contesto
tecnico-produttivo dell’emittente e degli utenti: numero di postazioni,
funzioni specifiche di ciascuna postazione (on air, registrazione,
scheduling, ecc), gradi di ‘sicurezza’ del sistema, formati audio, tipologia
di rete, ridondanze, tipo di server, ecc.
In particular, DJ PRO represents the ideal tool even for the
management of multiple emissions, each one with its own
playlist and possible advertising splittings. News stories and news
bulletins can be easily generated locally or get from national agencies
(f.i. via satellite) and re-broadcast.
In particolare, DJ-PRO è lo strumento ideale per gestire anche
più emissioni contemporanee, ciascuna delle quali con un proprio
palinsesto ed eventuali splittaggi pubblicitari. Anche i notiziari (sia

Also advanced are the DJ-PRO tools aimed to the
communication with the audience: sms, fax, automatic
answering machine, email, etc are prompted in real time to the DJ.

‘ON-AIR’ MODULE
DJ-PRO can manage the on-air operation in automatic or manual
mode (live-assist). The DJ can choose among several “utilties” which
enrich his creativity and allow programmes with many effects and
artistic contributions (such as sms, Email, etc.) to be created in real
time.
• PRELISTENING: every event of the playlist
can be previewed and modified before
broadcasting.
• KEYB-JINGLE: an integrated jingle machine
offers 200 keyboard configurations always
available on-line.
• RECORDING / ON-AIR: enables recording
of the material which is being broadcast.
• TIME SIGNAL: advanced programming of
automatic time announcements
• VOICE TRACK: voice recorder for
announcements. Ideal for simulating ‘OnAir program’ and for fast creation of prerecorded programs. It integrates prelistening, mix and overlapping utilities.
MUSIC PLAYLIST
DJ-PRO provides 3 levels of programming (musical, daily and events)
to automatically create Yr playlist.
In particular, the system fills music segments accordingly to set criteria
for each time slot (kind, event type, appreciation, etc…).
The programming can be created and edited even as “timeline”,
allowing to add an artistic ‘touch’ thanks to the cuts, the cross-fades,
etc… The combination of DJ-PRO and DJ-WARE allows for the total
playlist control for an advanced and refined broadcasting.
ADVERTISING PROGRAMMING
DJ-PRO integrates an easy interface for the advertising programming
and broadcasting. For each contract the user can set the validity time
with pre-scheduled emission times, priority and rotation in segment
or in the slot.The RAM-COMM software enriches DJ-PRO capabilities
with statistic calculation, management of contracts, billings, printouts and every thing is proven useful for a
perfect advertising programming.
AUDIO ACQUISITION
MODULO ‘DIRETTA’
DJ-PRO esegue la messa in onda sia in modalità totalmente automatica
che in modalità manuale (live-assist). Il DJ ha a disposizione numerose
“utilities” che moltiplicano la creatività e consentono la realizzazione in
tempo reale di programmi ricchi di effetti e contributi artistici di ogni genere
(tra cui sms, email, ecc).
• PREASCOLTI: ogni evento presente nella playlist può essere preascoltato e modificato prima
della messa in onda.
• KEYB-JINGLE: una Jingle-Machine integrata
offre 200 configurazioni di tastiera sempre
‘on-line’.
• REC-DIRETTA: funzione integrata per la
registrazione del programma attualmente in
onda.
• SEGNALE ORARIO: programmazione avanzata
ed annuncio automatico del segnale orario.
• VOICE TRACK: registratore di interventi vocali
per la realizzazione rapida di ‘dirette simulate’
e programmi preregistrati. Completo di funzioni
di preascolto, mix e sovrapposizioni.
PALINSESTO MUSICALE
DJ-PRO mette a disposizione tre livelli di programmazione (musicale, giornaliera
ed a eventi) per la generazione automatica del palinsesto. In particolare, il
riempimento delle fasce orarie avviene automaticamente in base a criteri
impostabili dall’utente (genere, tipo di evento, gradimento, ecc). La
programmazione può essere elaborata ed editata anche in forma di ‘timeline’
per un comodo e veloce perfezionamento artistico di stacchi, cross-fade, ecc.
L’abbinamento di DJ PRO al software DIGIWARE consente il totale controllo
del palinsesto per una evoluta e raffinata programmazione radiofonica.
PROGRAMMAZIONE PUBBLICITARIA
DJ-PRO integra una semplice interfaccia per la programmazione e la messa
in onda degli spot pubblicitari. Per ogni contratto è possibile impostare il
periodo di validità con orari di emissione prestabiliti, priorità e rotazione
in fascia o barra. Il software RAM-COMM espande le potenzialità di DJPRO con funzionalità per il calcolo di statistiche, gestione dei conflitti
merceologici, affollamento barre pubblicitarie,
pagamenti, fatture, gestione dei contratti, agenti
e provvigioni, stampe e quanto richiesto per una
perfetta programmazione della pubblicità.

automatic radio bulletins preparation. It gives
even to a technically not-so-skilled journalist
the ability to prepare top quality stories and
complete daily editions together with
background and signature tunes.
AUDIO EDITING
The integrated DJ-PRO digital recorder offers useful audio editing
tools: spectrum visualization, DJ Intro, mark in/mark out, fade and
mix ‘preview’ with all audio material available in the archive. The
recorder also can integrate editing software by other brands (CoolEdit,
X-Track, etc) for larger creativity.
SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION
DJ-PRO features powerful system administration capabilities: password
assignment, personalized desktops, tools assigned to each user,
authorization to delete archive files (purge), archive maintenance.
NETWORK & SYNDACATIONS
DJ-PRO is the ideal solution for networks and syndacations. The
network can easily set a “shared” or unified programming (both
musical programmes and advertising) with corresponding controls
for automatic connection / disconnection of partner radio stations.

EDITING AUDIO
Il registratore digitale integrato in DJ PRO supporta anche strumenti di
editing audio: visualizzazione forma d’onda, intro DJ, attacco/stacco, fade
e preascolto del mix con tutti i contributi in archivio. Il registratore può
integrare anche software di editing di terze parti (CoolEdit, X-Track, etc.)
per una più ampia creatività.
AMMINISTRAZIONE DEL SISTEMA
DJ-PRO è dotato di potenti funzioni di amministrazione del sistema:
impostazione password, visualizzazioni personalizzate, assegnazione
strumenti utilizzabili per ogni utente, diritti di cancellazione file di archivio
(purge), manutenzione archivi.
NETWORK & SYNDACATIONS
DJ-PRO è lo strumento ideale sia per il network che per le emittenti affiliate.

Possibility to communicate and exchange controls between
workstations and equipment through serial, network connection
(TCP/IP, etc…) and GPI/O cards (even via satellite, as some
Syndacations, Networks and news agencies require).
DJ-PRO can manage the connections from an external place without
the control of an operator in site (f.i. via ISDN it is possible to broadcast
contributes or “live” programmes and at the end of the connection,
re-start the DJ-PRO automatic programming).
WEB
DJ-PRO allows automatic exportation of all data connected to the
emitted events (titles, authors, playlist, programmes, etc…) to be
edited on web pages.
It is possible to visualize them also on RDS (through the optional
software module DJ-RDS).

e agenzie giornalistiche).
DJ-PRO gestisce collegamenti da postazione ‘esterna’ senza operatore in
sede (ad esempio, via ISDN è possibile mettere in onda contributi o
trasmissioni ‘live’ e, al termine del collegamento, riavviare la programmazione
automatica di DJPRO).
WEB
DJ-PRO permette l’automatica esportazione di dati relativi alla messa in
onda (titoli e autori dei brani, palinsesto, rubriche, ecc) per la pubblicazione
su pagine web. Possibile la visualizzazione di tali messaggi anche su RDS
(tramite modulo software opzionale DJ-RDS).

A log file is automatically generated reporting all operations performed
by the workstation. Programme and official records print out are also

(as PowerGold or Selector).
