Claudio D'Antoni graduated in pianoforte and in DAMS. He won a scholarship of the

has earned his PhD in "Criticism, Theory and History of Literature and Arts" at the
Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan and has been for four years lecturer at
the University "Lumsa" in Rome.
He collaborates with the Vatican Radio; he publishes with scientific periodicals such
as "Otto/Novecento" (Università Cattolica), "Nuova Rivista Musicale Italiana" (Rai),
" Rivista di Letteratura Italiana".
His most appreciated essays in the scientific world are Rachmaninov - Personality
and Poetics (Bardi, 2003), The Romances by Rachmaninov (www.ilmiolibro.it ,
2009) and Musical Grammar (Carisch, 2013), presented at the National Library in
Rome.
He has taught in various conservatories and is teaching currently in a music school.
