General Requirements
PhD in computer science, engineering/IT/Maths or comparable study career
Technical Requirements

Used to work with Big Data
Data Science and Data Analytics (Machine Learning, Recommendation Engines, Search
Personalisation)
Modelling and Statistics: data mining, data cleaning, data modelling machine learning (e.g.,
regression, decision trees, clustering, random forests, generalised linear models)
Java, R, scala, python or similar programming languages
Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Apache Spark, MapReduce, NoSQL, Impala, Pig, Hive)
are a plus
Desired Experience/Skills

Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI)
Database design (e.g., Cassandra, HBase, MongoDB, CouchDB) and segmentation technique
AI and Neural Networks
Back-End and/or Front-End architectures, frameworks and programming languages
Cloud infrastructure management (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure)
Good spoken and written English communication skills.
