Percorsi Soft Skills
Con l’obiettivo di offrire ai giovani
una formazione che sia quanto più
completa e trasversale la luiss ha
deciso di offrire ai suoi studenti, a
completamento del loro curriculum
universitario, veri e propri percorsi,
dai contenuti innovativi, strutturati
in diversi moduli, e con un forte
coinvolgimento dei partecipanti.
Per citarne alcuni: logica, public
speaking, team work e leadership,
problem solving, teoria dei giochi e
delle decisioni, project management,
negoziazione, scrittura, lettura
efficace. L’obiettivo è quello di
concorrere a stimolare lo sviluppo
di quelle capacità relazionali,

UNDERGRADUATE
STUDIES
Undergraduate studies consist
exclusively in Bachelor’s Degree
Programs (in Italian, Corsi di Laurea
Triennale).
They last three years and require
180 ECTS credits for completion. The programs aim at providing
undergraduate students with
adequate knowledge of general
scientific principles and mastery
of methods, as well as specific
professional skills. The degree
awarded is a Bachelor’s Degree.
LUISS Guido Carli offers full-time
undergraduate study in three of
its four Departments: Economics &
Finance, Business & Management and
Political Science.
SINGLE CYCLE PROGRAM
Along with the three-cycle program
system (Undergraduate, Graduate and
Postgraduate Studies) established by
the Italian Ministry for Universities
and Research, a limited number
of programs, called Single Cycle
Programs (in Italian, Corsi di Laurea
Magistrale a Ciclo Unico), coexist with
the new university system. They last five years and require 300
ECTS credits for completion. The
degree awarded is a Master’s Degree.
LUISS Guido Carli offers a Single
Cycle Program in Law, which is held
in Italian. During the first seven
semesters (three and a half years),
students have a common program
of studies. In their fourth academic
year, they are required to choose one
of the paths offered by the Program.

Accanto al sistema di Corsi di Laurea

a Ciclo Unico, coesiste con il nuovo
sistema universitario. Questi

Il Dipartimento si occupa della
gestione del corso di Laurea triennale
in inglese in Economics and Business,
del corso di Laurea magistrale in
Economia e Finanza (all'interno del
quale è possibile seguire percorsi
specifici in italiano e inglese).
La ricerca approfondisce molteplici
tematiche relative all'analisi dei
comportamenti individuali e aggregati,

skills in economics and finance
with quantitative methods applied

Department of Law
The Department of Law has two
different tasks: organizing the
teaching of the five-year degree course
in Law and promoting and coordinating
scientific research with courses and
doctoral research fellowships in the
field of law. The Department also offers
a path of the single cycle course (EU
law and regulation), completely taught
in English. The education offered
is characterized by highly qualified
and innovative professional training,
focused on turning out corporate
and company lawyers. Furthermore,
particular attention is paid to the
business and the world of labor:
students are expected to complete
internships and apprenticeships at
numerous distinguished organizations
and businesses. The teaching staff
is comprised of eminent jurists,
accomplished in transmitting basic
theoretical notions to students as well
as case history analysis.

Dipartimento di Giurisprudenza
Il Dipartimento di Giurisprudenza
ha il compito di organizzare
l'attività didattica del corso di laurea
quinquennale in Giurisprudenza
e di promuovere e coordinare la ricerca
scientifica nonché sviluppare i corsi
di dottorato nel campo giuridico.
Il Dipartimento offre anche un Profilo

Il Dipartimento di Scienze Politiche ha
un'impostazione interdisciplinare, sia
nell'ambito della didattica sia in quello
della ricerca.
L’offerta formativa del Dipartimento
prevede un corso di Laurea Triennale
e due corsi di Laurea Magistrale con
indirizzi in lingua italiana e in lingua
inglese.
Nell’ambito della didattica il

Before their arrival at LUISS
prospective international students
will receive:
• a welcome package providing them
with information on their life at
LUISS, in Rome and in Italy;
• information on the Italian language
course students might be interested
to attend during their stay at LUISS
in order to get a basic knowledge of
the local language and be facilitated
in the communication with people
outside the University campus;
• information on the CasaLUISS
housing service that will help
interested students to find a suitable
accommodation in Rome;
• information regarding the Visa
procedures that extra-EU students
must follow in order to enter Italy.

At their arrival at LUISS
prospective international students

orientation session. In such occasion,

of enlarging the Italian cultural
experience, organized by the Erasmus
Student Network;

The International Development and
Career Planning Office supports
students who are looking for an
internship during or after their
studies and offers them useful tools

Through the organization of the
Career Day, students and graduates

Financial Aid Office
The Financial Aid Office manages a
number of services – i.e. University

a free service to help students settle
in, with private counseling and

alloggio offerto dal centro servizi
immobiliari CasaLUISS , che
aiuterà gli studenti a trovare la

Network nella scoperta di tutti
servizi disponibili all’interno dei
campus LUISS;

viaggi fuori Roma, con l’obiettivo
di allargare l’esperienza culturale

L’ufficio Sviluppo Internazionale
e Career Planning assiste gli
studenti nella ricerca di stage
durante o alla fine degli studi e offre
loro gli strumenti per orientarsi

Inoltre organizza l’annuale Career
Day nel corso del quale gli studenti

La Segreteria Studenti
La Segreteria Studenti fornisce
agli studenti tutte le informazioni
di cui essi necessitano durante il
percorso accademico.Si occupa di
iscrizione, ammissione ai corsi,
pagamento delle rette di iscrizione,
registrazione agli esami, scelta
dei corsi di studio, discussione
della tesi di laurea, cambi di corso
o Dipartimento, trasferimento da
altre Università.
Attività culturali
La LUISS offre agli studenti la
possibilità di partecipare a attività
come quelle di Radio LUISS e della
LUISS TV, oltre che corsi di teatro,
Cineforum, concorsi fotografici e
di scrittura, etc. L’Università ha
anche accordi con un numero di
teatri a Roma, che offrono biglietti
