DESCRIPTION
D-GLIDE tipo P è un materiale composito per snodi sferici che nella
stragrande maggioranza delle applicazioni non richiede lubrificazione o alcun
tipo di manutenzione. Sopporta carichi molto elevati, resiste bene all’usura,
ha un coefficiente d’attrito molto basso e ha una buona resistenza chimica.
D-GLIDE tipo P può essere usato sia in aria che in acqua di mare, e tanto
più in molti altri tipi di fluidi, in presenza di acidi, candeggina e anche in presenza
di idrocarburi che possono rappresentare una sfida all’integrità del
particolare. Fondamentalmente lo scorrimento non è influenzato dalla
presenza o meno di fluidi, finché le spinte idrodinamiche in gioco non siano
eccessivamente rilevanti. Comunque D-GLIDE è risultata la scelta migliore
in molte strutture “high speeds”. D-GLIDE tipo P è principalmente utilizzato
in giunti, cardini e in diversi tipi di accoppiamenti meccanici laddove le velocità
di scorrimento non sono eccessive, sia in applicazioni marine che in
applicazioni civili. D-GLIDE tipo P non è conduttore elettrico e non contiene
metalli o altri materiali che potrebbero accelerare la corrosione,
permettendo di ridurre a zero assoluto il rischio corrosione o attaccabilità
da parte di agenti sullo snodo. E’ un materiale molto buono da accoppiare
con materiali di uso comune anche non temprati o trattati.
Questa combinazione di proprietà fa di D-GLIDE tipo P un’ottima scelta per
sostituire boccole in bronzo sia lubrificabili che non, snodi sferici con PTFE,
e altri snodi con materie plastiche tipo PA, PE, POM, ecc..
D-GLIDE type P is a composite bearing material that in most applications
requires no lubrication or any other kind of maintenance. It allows very high
loads, wear rates and friction values are low and chemical resistance is
good. D-GLIDE type P can be used dry as well as in sea water and most
other fluids, just some concentrated acids, bleaches and a few hydrocarbons pose a possible treat to material integrity. Basically the running
behaviour is not very much influenced by the presence or absence of fluids,
until hydro dynamic lift starts to play a role. However in such and other 'high
speeds' applications D-GLIDE is better choice. D-GLIDE type P is mainly
used in joints, hinges and other mechanical connections where no high
sliding speeds occur, both on land as well as in marine environments. DGLIDE type P does not conduct electricity and contains no metals or other
ingredients that could initiate or accelerate corrosion, thus avoiding or at
least reducing all kinds of corrosion problems. It is friendly for the counter
face material which means that most current steels can be used without
hardening or any other treatment. This combination or properties make
D-GLIDE type P a good choice to replace many lubricated or self lubricated
bronze bushing and other metal bearings as well as a superior replacement
for all thermo plastic - PA, PE, POM, etcetera - bearings.
