* See current catalog for a list of courses that will fulfill CWI’s GEM (general education matriculation)
requirements.
Business majors are encouraged to enroll in Math courses immediately, rather than waiting. Students
should complete the Math Diagnostic for math placement upon acceptance to CWI. The placement test
will inform the student if a review course such as MATH 095 is needed prior to entering MATH 143 - College
Algebra.

1 MATH 095 (or higher) is a prerequisite for ACCT 201, BUSA 207, and MATH 143. Select MATH 143 or MATH 160 based upon
the Math requirements of the transfer institution you plan to attend. MATH 143 is the recommended math course (unless
different than preferred transfer institution requires).
